Astora Risk Ltd are delighted to announce that we have been selected to take part in The Ulster University’s Graduate Leadership Programme.
As part of this scheme, the University, supported by the Department of the Economy, is providing small businesses with a graduate intern, to lead on key strategic projects to assist their recovery from the impact of COVID-19 and prepare for future growth.
The programme gives employers the opportunity to have a subject specific graduate to contribute the most up-to-date research and development knowledge and understanding directly into their business.
Lloyd Moulding, Managing Director of Astora Risk Ltd stated, “We are thrilled to have been selected as one of the chosen companies in this scheme, and pleased to announce we have appointed Darrelle McNicholl, a BSc International Business graduate in our new role as Business Development & Marketing Executive. Darrelle impressed us during interview with her enthusiasm and vast business knowledge. She has already put forward some great ideas which will help us develop our long-term strategy, as we continue to be a new emerging and expanding business in the risk management market. It is through innovative programmes like this that we are able to unlock potential in our future business managers, and remove barriers to employment.”
The Graduate Leadership Programme is aimed at increasing graduate employability by providing the necessary experience, knowledge and skills for future careers.
Darrelle McNicholl, Business Development & Marketing Executive stated, “I am excited to begin working for Astora Risk Ltd, particularly as this is a key moment for their business development and growth. Not only will I gain the opportunity to learn valuable knowledge of the risk management consultancy sector, but I will also enjoy working alongside experienced mentors. Thank you to Ulster University for providing this opportunity!”
The Graduate Leadership Programme combines a six month internship with a Postgraduate Certificate in Graduate Leadership qualification.
